A £400m global supplier of oil and gas support services was keen to increase levels of customer-focused innovation to improve services and reduce costs to enable it to retain and attract new customers in a very competitive market.
Using our Active Innovation and Change methodology we developed strategically aligned innovation plans and created a team of Innovation Coaches to support performance improvement initiatives across all business divisions. Progress to date includes the roll out of their first innovation & improvement plans aligned to corporate objectives. A team of coaches are stimulating innovation activity across the business and a series of customer-focused improvement projects are currently being implemented..
Software support services
A UK based business providing software development and business process outsourcing in financial services market in the USA was finding it increasingly difficult to grow revenues due to increased competition from India. Management were looking at potentially downsizing.
Analysis of the business highlighted a number of key issues including the need to change the way they engaged with key customers and to clearly demonstrate value against international competition. This required changes in strategy, tactics and behaviour. Uxl used our innovation and change products to engage with all senior managers and create an improvement plan with a number of projects designed to enhance customer engagement, develop new services and develop higher levels of self confidence around business capabilities. Management quickly implemented a number of changes to the business model, developed closer relationships with key stakeholders and secured additional sales in USA.
The new Chief Executive of a 650 seat contact centre realised that to bring about a marked improvement in commercial performance he needed to affect a real change in the culture of the business. He firmly believed this could improve staff motivation and bottom line performance.
